The Arts Council of Indianapolis announces seven new locations for the 46 for XLVI murals program, a public art program in partnership between the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the City of Indianapolis.
Over the course of the program, 46 murals will be created by local, regional and international artists. The seven new locations and artists are:
South & Capitol Avenue (west) -- Tom Torluemke; Dyer, Ind.
Teachers’ Treasures -- Will Schlough; Pittsburgh
37 Place -- Eve Biddle & Josh Frankel; Brooklyn, New York
Summit Building (south wall) -- Erik Pearson; Minneapolis
Union Station train shed (Illinois Street underpass) -- Artur Silva; Indianapolis
30th & MLK -- Damon Lamar Reed; University Park, Ill.
27th & MLK -- Damon Lamar Reed; University Park, Ill.
