INDIANAPOLIS STAR
Southwestside residents can gather next week to meet with the Mayor Greg Ballard to discuss neighborhood issues, and a group of local students will entertain and participate in the meeting.
Decatur Township Middle School students will have work on display, and eighth-grade choir students will sing “Marine’s Hymn” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” as part of Mayor’s Night Out, said Robin Gregory, Decatur Township Schools spokeswoman.
The Mayor’s Night Out for the Southwest Outer Region will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Seerley Creek Christian Church, 3550 S. Lynhurst Drive.
Residents and students can participate in a question-and-answer session with Ballard and his staff. For more information call mayor’s liaison Suzanne Rothenberg, (317) 327-5216 or email suzanne.rothenberg@indy.gov.
Ballard will face Democratic nominee Melina Kennedy in the Nov. 3 election.
